Dean Buckler ARL Level Two Coach seeks position in the UK
I am returning to live back in the UK this October and looking to continue my coaching career. I have recently completed my ARL Level Two and hold my ARL Level One.
Currently I'm in my second year of coaching at an open age level on the south coast of Sydney in the VB Cup. This is my sixth year of coaching after retiring from playing due to a recurring knee injury. My ambitions are to move into a professional coaching role and would be happy to consider a position as an assistant coach. Having spent the last 8 years playing and coaching in the Australian scene, I'm looking to move back home (Leeds) to coach in the 2009 season if not the back end of the 08 to 09 season. Contact me at deanbuckler@hotmail.com St Albans Centurions ARLFC seek new players for 2009 - The Centurions, reigning RLC National Premiers, are keen to enhance their position as one of the foremost amateur rugby league clubs in London and the South East.
The Centurions are looking to recruit experienced rugby league players to ensure the club maintains its current status and forms a platform from which the club can move forward in future years.
The new players will act as role models/assist in the development of the club’s excellent junior products and it is essential we attract the right calibre of player/club man.
Additionally, the Centurions are looking to appoint a new Head Coach for 2009 and beyond.
Applications are sought from experienced Open Age coaches who have a track record of success, an ability to mould a new squad of players and a desire to fast track the development of juniors.
If you are interested in either of these opportunities and want to find out more about footie and St Albans contact reg.wottlay@hotmail.co.uk Click STATE of ORIGIN for Sydney Game Three Tickets, Travel and Accomodation. COACH AND PLAYERS REQUIRED FOR 2009 ENGLISH SUMMER - The South Devon Stingrays RLFC (formerly announced as Sidmouth Stingrays) will be joining the South West Conference league in the English summer of 2009.
Based out of the South Hams region, the club is looking to recruit from both the UK and Australia/ NZ.
The South West Conference is a relatively new competition, and is part of the Rugby Football League's successful expansion in the UK.
The competition could best be described as a reasonable standard of country rugby league. The opportunity to further your stay in the region after the league season and play in the regional rugby union competition is also possible. We are open to players from all levels of experience and age.
Players looking to further their career in the UK will also be given every opportunity to do so, with contacts through higher division clubs. The club will be playing the likes of Plymouth Titans, Devon Sharks, Exeter Centurions, East Devon Eagles and the Somerset Vikings, and the Stonehouse Stallions (Devon Cup only). The club is on a strictly amateur basis, and we expect you will be a competitive side, with a strong social aspect. The club not only plays for the South West Conference title, but for the Devon Cup (Devon based teams only) and several knockout competitions, including national knockouts. We are also looking for a seasoned coach to also run the squad. A captain/coaching role would also be considered. Employment in the summer months is also quite strong in the region. Players that have already shown an interest when advertised as the Sidmouth Stingrays are already on our mailing list, so need not re-apply. We will be in touch soon. So, if you are looking for a summer of fun, then make history by joining us in our inaugural year.
