A recurrence of a groin injury has forced Danny Orr to withdraw from the Harlequins RL squad ahead of this evening's match against Warrington Wolves at the Stoop. Orr's place will be taken by 19-year-old Joe Ridley who could make his Super League debut in the clash against the Challenge Cup winners.
Essex-born Ridley played rugby union with Colchester Romans until the age of 16 when he made the switch to league. The centre has graduated from the under 16s and under 18s to play in the under 20s competition. Last month he began training with the first team and has been assigned shirt number 37.
Ridley's inclusion brings the total number of London-trained players in tomorrow's squad up to seven, the very evening that Harlequins RL will be celebrating 30 years of London Rugby League.
Members of the original 1980 Fulham team will be present at the Stoop and the matchday magazine will feature a full reproduction of the original programme.
Tickets are available now from just £15 adults, £10 concessions and £5 under 16s.
