The Jetstar Gold Coast Titans have joined forces with ThyssenKrupp Elevator Australia, who were today announced as the new ‘lower back of jersey' sponsor on the club's home jersey.

ThyssenKrupp Elevator Australia has signed an exciting new two-year deal to feature on the Jetstar Titans' brand new adidas home jersey - joining away jersey sponsor Australian Power and Gas as the shared owners of the club's lower back of jersey.

However, in a special one-off for this Sunday's eagerly anticipated NRL season-opener against the New Zealand Warriors at Skilled Park, the ThyssenKrupp brand will be emblazoned on the Jetstar Titans white away jersey - modelled today by captain Scott Prince

The move was made after the Jetstar Titans decided to take up an option allowed by NRL regulations to wear their lighter coloured white away jersey for Sunday's match due to the anticipated hot conditions for the 1pm kick-off.

Fittingly, ThyssenKrupp Elevator Australia are the elevator suppliers for Skilled Park and Jetstar Titans Managing Director Michael Searle said it was exciting to introduce a new sponsor to the club's growing sponsorship family.

"We are excited to welcome ThyssenKrupp Elevator Australia on board as a new sponsor,'' said Searle.

"It's great that our lower back of jersey sponsorship has been finalised for the next two seasons and encouraging that we are continuing to attract new sponsors to both the club and rugby league.

"We look forward to what the next two years will bring for both parties.''

Alan Younger, Manager for Queensland of ThyssenKrupp Elevator Australia said: "The partnership with the Titans is an exciting deal for ThyssenKrupp as it aligns our company with the team, brand, and management philosophy similar to ours.

"ThyssenKrupp is in an exciting growth phase and values the corporate and community spirit evident at the Titans.

"ThyssenKrupp Elevator operate globally which is essential to provide service delivery and product quality essential for Australia's property sector, now and into the future.''

The Jetstar Titans will kick-off the 2010 season against the New Zealand Warriors at Skilled Park on Sunday - with the main game commencing at 1pm.
