"We
work on a flat line in attack, which is evolution in
my coaching. With the input of the 10metre rule we
try to create our space by earning it, not by getting
back behind the advantage line.
"Our
front rowers and other forwards work to try and
create space for our backs. The space to create is on
the 10 metre line, forcing the defence to go
backwards and creating a one on one tackle as much as
possible by the opposition" said Chris Anderson
in one of his interviews for the Madison Sport Coach

from the Storm as a "total fabrication
Storm chief executive Chris Johns emphatically denied
reports Anderson was planning to quit the 1999 NRL
premiership-winning team and return to Sydney to lead
the Sharks or Sydney Roosters
As for rumours Anderson is unhappy with Johns and
executive director John Ribot, he said: "We're
getting on fine, there's not problem there"
Johns said club management had spoken with Anderson,
who's also the national coach, today and both were
satisfied there was no problem
